Student Spotlight: Joshua Jones – KMS High School

Hello everyone! My name is Joshua Jones, and I’m proud to be part of the West Central Minnesota CEO Program this year. I’m a senior at KMS High School and grew up as the second youngest in a family of five boys—so learning to hold my own has been a lifelong skill!

I live on my family’s farm in rural Minnesota where we raise about 20 cows and a few chickens. Growing up in agriculture has taught me the value of hard work, responsibility, and problem-solving.

Throughout high school, I’ve stayed busy with a variety of activities. I wrestled from 1st through 10th grade, played football from 7th through 12th grade, participated in robotics, and currently serve as an FFA officer. Each experience has shaped who I am and pushed me to grow as a leader.

I joined the CEO Program because I watched my older brother thrive in it. Seeing how much he learned and how far he grew motivated me to take the same leap. This year, I hope to gain the skills and confidence needed to start and run my own business—just like he did.

I’m excited for what’s ahead and grateful for the support of our community as we begin this journey as young entrepreneurs! 🚀
