Meet: Emily Sunvold – Central Minnesota Christian School

My name is Emily Sunvold, and I’m a junior at Central Minnesota Christian School, where I’ve been a student since preschool. Along with my high school classes, I’m also taking PSEO courses through Northwestern University. I live in Renville with my family and have worked at Renville Health Services for the past two years. I also hold a seasonal position with the City of Renville, which has given me valuable real-world experience and a chance to serve my community.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, crafting, hiking, and traveling—anything that lets me learn, explore, or create something new.

I joined the West Central MN CEO Program to gain a deeper understanding of the opportunities available in our region. I’m excited to strengthen my communication skills, learn how the business world operates, and start shaping a vision for what I want to pursue after high school. By the end of this year, my goal is to step confidently into the real world equipped with the skills, knowledge, and experience I need to succeed.
