About Me
Hi! My name is Elias Hultgren, and I attend MACCRAY High School in Clara City, MN. I’m actively involved in the FFA program, where I compete on the Crops Team. FFA has been an excellent opportunity for me to expand my knowledge of agronomy and gain hands-on experience in agriculture. In addition to FFA, I’m a member of the National Honor Society. Outside of school, I live and work on my family farm, where we grow corn, soybeans, kidney beans, and sugarbeets. I also enjoy being part of a custom chopping crew that works with local dairies — it’s a great way to stay involved in the agricultural community and gain valuable real-world experience. I chose to take the West Central CEO course to grow my professional network. I believe that building strong connections now will benefit my future in farming by helping me identify the right businesses and resources efficiently. I also hope this course will teach me how to successfully manage a business by learning from the experiences and success stories of the companies we visit.
