Meet: Evan Petersen - MACCRAY High School

Hi! My name is Evan Petersen, and I am a senior at MACCRAY High School in Clara City. I live just outside of Raymond on my family’s farm, where my dad and I raise beef cattle and grow row crops. Farming is my passion, and I’m always striving to learn more about agriculture and the business behind it.

I am an active member of our FFA chapter and also participate on our school’s trap shooting team. In my free time, you can usually find me outdoors—snowmobiling with friends, hunting, or fishing. I joined the CEO program as an opportunity to step outside the classroom and experience the great things our community has to offer. Our farm isn’t only our passion—it’s our business.

CEO will help me learn from successful people in our area, understand the strategies behind their success, and build connections that could benefit our farming operation in the future.
