The West Central MN CEO Program recently visited first-time host LiveEdge Construction in Kerkhoven, MN—and what an experience!

Cofounders Karter Van Heuveln and Trevor Malhum welcomed our students into their shop to share what it truly takes to turn an idea into a dream career. Just three years into business, their passion, pride, and commitment to their work were easy to see.

They showed our students that no job is too big or too small when you’re willing to take risks, put in long hours, and believe in your vision—just like they did when starting their business. Construction requires dedication, problem-solving, and resilience, but the reward of building something meaningful makes it all worth it.
