What makes a team actually PERFORM?
Today West Central MN CEO spent the morning with one of our favorite facilitators, Kristy Nystrom at Ascensus, for a deep dive into Conflict Resolution to Make Teams Perform.
This is Kristy’s second year leading this session for us, and every time she brings it with her session: How Conflict and Failure Drive Success.
Students worked through the Sailboat Retro Activity:
✅ What pushed us forward?
✅ What held us back?
✅ What made us feel good?
✅ What risks are there for the future?
The big shift: Conflict isn’t something to avoid — it’s a tool. When teams learn to navigate conflict well and learn from failure fast, they perform at a whole new level.
We put it into practice right away with team sticky-note exercises, reflections, and planning actions for what we’ll take forward.
Huge thank you to Kristy for investing in our young entrepreneurs and for always welcoming us in.
