About Me

Griffin DeGroot is a junior at Central Minnesota Christian School. He enjoys fishing, hunting, and participating in various sports, including soccer, basketball, and baseball. Among these, soccer is his favorite sport, and he hopes to continue playing at the collegiate level.

Outside of school, fishing is Griffin's favorite hobby. He appreciates fishing for its ability to help him unwind and connect with God’s creation. His passion for fishing has also inspired him to start a small business where he designs, creates, and sells custom fishing lures. One of his most significant accomplishments in this venture has been receiving signed lures from notable individuals, including the owner of Scheels, Willie Robertson from Duck Dynasty, and Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach.

Griffin brings strong leadership skills and a sense of wonder to both teams and businesses. His sense of wonder, identified as one of his strongest areas of Working Genius, enables him to think creatively, develop innovative ideas, and explore possibilities that others may overlook. He enjoys taking those ideas and leading a team to transform them into action.

He chose to join CEO to develop his business skills, enhance his leadership abilities, and improve his social and communication skills. Griffin believes that this experience will help him become a better leader and better prepare him for future opportunities in both business and life.
